Hawzah News Agency- In a message marking the birth anniversary of Lady Zainab (PBUH), Ayatollah Arafi praised the efforts of health workers, saying: “Lady Zainab (PBUH) was not only the nurse of Karbala, but the standard-bearer of resilience and patience at history’s most difficult moments — and you today are the inheritors of that same path of sacrifice and devotion.”

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
“And whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity.” (Quran 5:32)
Dear nurses and white-clad angels of the health sector,
Peace and blessings of God be upon you, who have manifested “Lady Zainab’s patience” in the form of service to God’s servants.
The designation of Nurses Day on the birthday of Aqila Bani Hashim, Lady Zainab al-Kubra (PBUH), is the best proof of the inseparable bond between “caring for the body” and “standing firm for exalted values.”
That great lady was not only the nurse of Karbala, but the standard-bearer of resilience and patience at history’s most difficult moments — and you today are the inheritors of that same path of sacrifice and devotion.
The seminary schools, honoring your tireless and round-the-clock efforts, regard this blessed day as an opportunity to appreciate the sincere efforts of those who, in the arena of treatment, ease the pain of the suffering with love and faith and restore hope to the body of society.
You are not merely healers of exhausted bodies; through your compassionate and modest conduct, your dignified ethics, and your preservation of human dignity in medical environments, you are practical ambassadors of Islamic ethical teachings. Know that this sincere service is, in the scale of divine justice, a great act of worship and a mighty struggle whose reward will be preserved with God, the Exalted.
I, while congratulating you on this blessed day, ask God Almighty to grant all committed and hardworking nurses of our country increasing success, lasting health, and assistance from Lady Zainab al-Kubra (PBUH) in the path of serving the people.
